Casa Mia launches anti-ageing menu

Leeds-based Italian restaurant chain Casa Mia has launched a menu containing a series of dishes designed to help turn back the clock.

The new ‘Forever Young’ menu has been created using foods proven to help slow down the ageing process and each dish contains a potent combination of ingredients that promise to promote youth and vitality. And, with 14 different dishes to choose from, diners can now pick their cuisine based on their anti-ageing requirements.

For youthful skin customers can opt for either roast salmon, avocado and pepper salad or grilled tuna steak topped with cherry tomatoes and white wine sauce – both rich in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids that are essential for maintaining skin suppleness.

Those looking to increase brain function can choose the honey-roasted apple and smoked chicken salad or chicken and broccoli stir-fry that are both rich in antioxidants and proteins designed to improve mental performance. Or for supple muscle joints, customers can order homemade ravioli filled with chicken, turkey and cheese.

Other delights on offer include lemon and sweet red chilli chicken that work to banish wrinkles by protecting the body from free radical damage, pan seared calves liver to promote thick, strong hair and broccoli, spinach and parmesan risotto that contains carotenoids to help maintain perfect vision.

Speaking about the new menu, Francesco Mazzella, owner of Casa Mia, said: “Eating the right foods is essential in helping to keep the years at bay and we have designed the ‘Forever Young’ menu to make choosing the right anti-ageing foods easy for our customers.

“Many people spend hundreds of pounds on anti-ageing creams and serums, but fail to eat the types of food that help to promote youth from the inside out. Our menu contains foods rich in vitamins and minerals proven to slow down the ageing process and the wide array of dishes on offer is guaranteed to help diners look and feel younger for longer.”

The ‘Forever Young’ menu contains 14 dishes all designed to help diners look and feel younger. It’s available from September 26, 2008 at Casa Mia Grande on Harrogate Road.
